Typical, no work means that within reason I’m free to run whenever I want and so far I haven’t managed to do it once. Yes I ran last night and Tuesday but they’re normal runs. Wednesday the snow ruined it and today……….Well today I just don’t feel right. Can’t put my finger on why but even walking upstairs feels an effort today. Grooooaaaaaannn!

My intention was to get a good few miles under my belt today and then if I do have a couple of sneaky pints at tonights game (Wakefield v Castleford) I can get away without running tomorrow. Can’t say I feel like the rugby or the pint either though – I must be coming down with something!!!

Is this week going to be my lowest milage to date – 10 miles, now this time last year I would have been more than happy with this. What a diiference a year makes. Got to say though, 30+ miles a week is defo making me a faster runner. Here’s hoping it’s a 24 hour thing. Don’t want to be slowing down any time soon!
